SPEC Services has substantial depth of staff and an excellent reputation in electrical and control systems engineering and design. This capability is applied as part of multi-disciplined SPEC projects, and selectively as single-discipline specialized services to owners and other engineering firms. We are successfully applying the experience and efficiency of our petroleum industry work to the engineering and design of electrical and control systems for other industries and agencies.

We are very effective in our work over a wide range of projects, including both new facilities and revision and modernization of existing plants. Our electrical power projects can vary from the upgrade or installation of a single pump to the design of new power systems for refineries, pump stations, and wastewater treatment plants. The control systems project can likewise vary from the very small, such as specifying a new control valve to meet a changed service requirement, to complete project management and design responsibility for a multi-million dollar DCS control system for a refinery or power plant. We maintain the capability to effectively perform on the small projects, and have the procedures, depth, and experienced specialists to also manage the large projects effectively.
